In this video we are showing you how to recondition car batteries. First, you want to check your voltage. If its over 10 volts then there is a really good cahnce to recondition this. Of course it 10 volts and it can barely start your vehicle, it’s not holding any charge. 99% of the time this is going to work and not going to hurt your battery. The first thing you do is you pop your caps off. If you have sealed battery, you are going to have to pull the plugs. Check your acid levels make sure that they are full. If they are full and not charging you have to remove these acids. You need to have clothes that you can destroy just in the case you get an acidon you. wear safety goggles wear gloves and always have baking soda nearby you. Because this neutralizes battery acid. This are the safety precautions you have to take first.Take 3 cups of water that has been distilled at 150 degrees then you add 1 cup of Epsom salt. You can buy it at a general store. Pour in approx 1 cup then you stir. While the epsom salt is dissolving it’s time to take the acid in you battery and pour the acid out.

How to revive NiCad Rechargeable Battery

Our cordless phone was disconnected with its base during our14-day Europe trip, thus the rechargeable battery on the phone set is dead. After recharging it in the base overnight, nothing indicated it had any charge. It is dead because of the crystal dendrite growth. How can you revive it? Simple, it only takes 2 minutes and a charger to “zap” it.

Note that NiCad battery is an old type but it is not bad at all. It can deliver high current compare to Nimh type. So don’t throw it away before reviving it first. You are not only saving money, you are saving our earth!!!

The “zap” only needs to be strong enough to knock off dendrite. It’s a pulse for shock treatment, not meant to provide a constant large current. If you have constant current, then it will generate heat, thus may lead to fire.

GRAHPENE?
=========
Difference between Graphene and Nanotech? Graphenes are a bit heavier, hold up to high power drain better, keep their discharge voltage up until the end, are said to be durable and have a longer lifespan (to be proven over time).
That being said I have a few Nanotechs with high c-rating and they work quite well also!

LIPO and CHARGING tips:
=======================
if a battery has higher C-rating it will be a bit heavier.
if you fly and the battery is very hot afterwards – you’re demainding too much – battery wont life long
puffed batteries are worn out, wont have full capacity anymore
charge batteries with 1c (means with their capacity in amps – 1300mah batt – charge with 1300ma – or 1.3amps)
always balance
dont use damaged batteries – they might have an issue and lead to a crash on the next flight
DONT LET YOUR CHARGER UNATTENTED! make sure to always be around, have more chargers to charge more efficiently, USE A SMOKE ALERT in that room, have a fire extinguisher…
